MCD will gain market share simply due to the fact they started at zero. SBUX will lose share to those customers who frequent MCD on their way to SBUX. Starbucks' coffee is swill, so MCD can't possibly lose here.

I've been doing about 4 MCD iced cappo's per week since they were introduced a few months ago. The large costs $2.22 tax included. Gotta be 24 oz's. A great post-close pick me up in a place that's dripping sweat humid 300 day's a year. Come to think of it, maybe down here they'll need add a café cubano to the mix.... Two thing's I won't often do on my OWN dime: pay 5 bucks for a caffinated beverage or pay $48 for someone to grill me up a NY strip.
I owned the first year's production and it had some problems with the rotor. This is the 4th or 5th year and the bugs are gone. 7-day reserve.
