Thank you for your reply. I am retired and have been considering getting a franchise, not a restaurant though, that does not interest me. Was curious if the headquarters went under, would I be able to continue by sourcing my supplies and equipment from elsewhere. I guess that would be in the fine print.
If you mean opening a franchise in Russia? Not sure how you would do that. The key problem is that you would not have the same taste of McD's, which is why the brand works all over the world. Russians using their own ingredients is simply not McD. You cannot replicate McD fries without McD potatoes. You cannot replicate the special McD taste of a Big Mac beef patty or special sauce without McD-sourced supply.
No, not in Russia. Also it wouldn't be a restaurant franchise as there are too many variables. It would be a service franchise here where I live. In the U.S.A.
You lost me. A service franchise for McD? Or do you mean with another chain? And what is a service franchise anyway? Something like one of those uniform cleaning companies? What the heck are they called...Veritas or something?
