To be honest I don't enjoy and feel comfortable in extremely upscale restaurants. In San Diego (where I live) I would be happy with a $35 restaurant. Wine would add another $12.
Don't get ahead of yourself. You're down 2.5K on your position right now. I'll have a MCD tonight in your honor.
Probably you heard on the news that MCD is going to offer vegetables and different drinks. That proves one thing. MCD is clueless and is pushed around by different ideas which will not work. MCD is losing its identity as a cheap burger and fries restaurant. No one will go to MCD to have vegetables. It will take years to sink in that idea. There are many other restaurants that do that. Panera does not get involved in selling fries and burger. MCD should not lose the direction by getting into vegetable market. These news confirm that shorting MCD is a right thing.
It depends where you put the starting point on my MCD trades. While I look at the big picture, and all my MCD trades as a trend and I don't give up easily on my losing trades. Yes I have lost on that trade as I am short another 1700 shares of MCD. Please follow my trades on MCD as it would be a good training on how I manage my trades. I will sell covered PUT tomorrow and will post my trade. For some reason I might delay a few hours or a day or two on posting my trade.
I have been trading MCD for a little over 3 years and I usually don't post my trades. I refer you to my earliest trade posted on this tread post #72 that shows my previous trade which was profitable.
Thanks. I wish you make money too. If I just scan the market and find a stock that I don't know, I won't trade, and if I do and it goes against me, I will be nervous. I know MCD stock and I won't get nervous if it goes a few bucks against me. I know that I might lose big in MCD and that is the nature of trading and nothing is guaranteed but my plan is to sell covered weekly PUT 95 or 95.5 put tomorrow.
