Why bother with an amendment? He could just issue an executive order. He does it for everything else.
Honestly I'd rather see the socialist's get their way until the fricken wheels fall off and the gas tank explodes . American's have got to be revulsed to the point of vomiting at the ideas of socialism thus they need to get it 1930's style.
Hopefully not. Doesn't it take a ratification of 75% of states to amend the Constitution? Can "executive order" override Constitution? If so, then we officially have "dictatorship".

The real America is repulsed at socialism, and the evils that go with it. Question is, when will Americans take a stand, and rid the Country of the disease?
Some of my brethren here on ET are still operating under the assumption that Obama, or any of the other D.C. whores, cares about that little paper that some call "the constitution". Oh, don't get me wrong, they do care about it, when it's convenient for their agenda.
