Then you should read his 60 page policy paper that he's put on his website -- I've read both websites and Obama's is surprisingly detailed and McCain has four paragraph chunks which are very, very general.
I believe i can assist you. I summarized obama's plan a few weeks ago: Obama's basic platform is surrender to al qaeda, raise taxes on working people, raise the cost of all forms of energy, promote government-funded abortion on demand, cater to muslim pressure groups, open borders, gun control and slavery reparations.
I guess when all else fails, lies and exaggeration remain your only recourse. SOP straight from the GOP playbook.
They didn't mention it ONLY because McCain did better than they expected. And I DID speculate that they'd thow the probability of traffic in as an explanation. But since I'm in Chicago and do know some of the black folks who work for the campaign, it wouldn't be too hard to actually find out what they might have done. You're not reading too well are you? I did say "intention" and that was my speculation. What fiction do you imply?
You know what. In regard to making the statement about what they were going to say, you're correct. I'm wrong! Noted! However, when chatting this morning with an actual person with the campaign I found that they did request that the debate get started when they found McCain wasn't there as they wanted solo candidate facetime. They had hoped that they could use some of the footage in commercials which they still might. And they are concerned about some of his unscripted statements about Russia and China of late. I asked if they could be defended and I was told they'll say he is on the campaign trail and he was probably tired when he made the comment. They'll play the, "well look at what McCain said" game. Let's listen to the statements from operatives over the next few days shall we.
Wow, that's some source you've got there considering that at no point except at the end of the forum were both candidates even intending to appear together on stage, the whole forum was solo-candidate facetime, and was always planned to be so. Your "source" is incredibly confused and has gotten the entire forum format entirely wrong.
No more wrong than the Clintons having more face time at the convention than Obama. The Clintons are now going to sell the Obama message? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! That's sound and consistent with how this cycle has run all along. Very Barak-esque I'd say.
