McCain to Palin - "Shut up and look pretty, let me do the talking"

  1. Libertarians are not always inclined to anarchism (I'm closest to Anarcho-capitalism - a type of anarchism), but most are for minarchism.

Pabst seems more for authoritarian type ruling, so he seems more neo-conservative or similar. I could understand his anti-Obama stance if he said he was a racist or just simply hate/loathe Obama. His support for authoritarian rule and Laissez-faire are also contradictory - that's why I said neo-libertarianism - which is just plain ... well, not really consistent or even rational - to be nice about it. It is not thought through, and seems to be extremely populist and emotional.

    It's like a woman with PMS... :)

  2. Naw!

... probably more like a schizophrenic with paranoid delusions about others who may not be exactly like him and are thus "out to get him"... and take away some of his control of his meaningless world!!

See the thing about guys like this and other closet bigots and really dogmatic sorts is they are likely never gonna get it until he ... not unlike the character in Tolstoy's "Death of Ivan Illych" wakes up one day very soon on his death-bed, and has an epiphany about what a misguided soul he really was his whole life and sadly recognizes, for the first and probably only time, how he treated others in the name of self-aggrandizement and religion and greed and in ways emanating from a weakened or dysfunctional character... and sits up and loudly proclaims:

Maybe my whole life WAS WRONG and it DIDN'T EVEN FUCKING MATTER!

  3. Your thoughts are consistently provocative.

    I am unabashed Laissez-faire.

I am a virtual agnostic who grew up religious (Jesuit schools) but rather than preaching secularism I identify with and want to protect Christian values. In other words I'm a closet agnostic who accepts Jesus Christ in his heart.

I am anti military and anti-interventionist yet once again I identify with and respect those who sacrifice for their country.

I am anti-central government to the extreme. I think the United States role as blood sucking Federal State will end and that it must fiscally fail.

I believe the services rendered by States and Cities remain supreme-schools, police, water, libraries, streets, aid to the needy-while the Federal government is a glorified war machine. I believe local taxes should be 15% a year and Federal taxes 5%.

I am rapidly becoming an anti-Semite (ET has helped valididate many of those feelings) who believes Jews are the elite media class intent on tilting U.S. foreign policy to Israel while spreading socialism, anti-speech and anti-family values in the U.S.
There's many big government socialist Christians on the left and bible thumping "Jews are chosen, let's kill Muslims" on the right. They'd might as well be Jews too.....:)

  4. Pabst,

if you are anti-militarism - then how can you support McCain or Palin? They both promise more conflict and wars.
Obama goes for diplomacy and strengthening international collaboration - the sane option.
McCain is loathsome of US "enemies" and represents old-money.

Islamophobia is something being used to perpetuate self-interests, no doubt; in both defense industry and political interests.
Neo-conservatives strongly reverberated the plight of Israel in the world, as well as being chock full of elite theories.

  5. huh

    huh

I think this is one of my favorite quotes:

"If BS were currency, Palin could bail out Wall Street herself."

With that I am off the McCain train, sadly I am apparantly doing the "unthinkable, unamerican" thing which is to take a pass on this election.

Sorry McCain I was with you in 2000 and I was with you till the debate but Palin is too much for me and your economic ignorance which Palin can't compensate for (like Romney could have you buffoon) I'm taking a pass.

I'm sure the repubs couldn't careless its only one vote but oh well I'm out. (At least I didn't give my Demoncrat wife my mail-in ballot so at least I helped a bit!)

Aren't you trying to raise money for some fund you are trying to start?

What are you gonna do....have a Non-Jewish investment policy.

Too funny.....you might wanna leave your racist thinking at the door of any meeting with people looking to put money with you.
