McCain and his water boy, Lindsey Graham, still can't believe that Trump won and appear to be grasping at straws with this Russian connection. No one has listened to anything Graham has said in years, and no one has listened to McCain since he picked Elly May Clampett as his running mate. McCain should have already retired, but his being in the Senate is probably the only way his daughter can get a job.
While we're on the topic, i'ld like to start a troll story of my own and see how high it goes. Did you know that Trump plans on building up the Navy? It seems like an American thing to do till you find out he plans to give two battleships to little Baron Trump for toys. I hope Fredrick Hindsight will pick this up and give it to any Canadian MPs he may know.
I disagree and McCain has been around long enough to know better. If you take garbage like this about the president-elect of your own party and peddle it, you better pray it sticks. Otherwise, you are SOL. We are seeing Trump's enemies struck down in Old Testament fashion. If I were Paul Ryan, I would be watching my step.
Actually how McCain handled the situation aligns completely with the ethical standards established for Congress.
This is a joke, right? How about citing the ethical standards that apply to handling obvious slander that is totally unsubstantiated. The only thing it aligns with is how cuck republicans are so quick to backstab their own president. They did the same thing with Nixon. The democrats by contrast circled the wagons for Clinton when he was under attack. Big difference. If this is true, McCain should be forced to resign, just as would have happened if he had done it to Obama. Actually though, he went out of his way to defend Obama when he was running against him. Both times, he was playing to his media constituency.
I would urge you to call your local Congressional representative and have them explain to you the proper procedures for a Congressional representative to follow if they are handed material that potentially shows illegal activity by a U.S. citizen. McCain followed the correct procedure and properly fulfilled his ethical obligations. You may not like hearing it, but McCain actions are completely correct and proper.
OK, sure I'll get right on it. Maybe you could cite me the actual standard you are relying on though, just so I can point it out to them when they stop laughing.
Did John Mccain follow the correct procedure when he came into the possession of info disputing the legality of Obama's identity documents? The sheriff in a city in his own state has called the obama birth certificate forged, and he did so after an investigation. There's also the matter of Obama using a ssn that was assigned to someone in Connecticut. But what did John Mccain do? Not a damn thing. The courts claimed that one needed standing to dispute Obama's birth documents. And John Mccain is the only person who has undisputed standing, as the loser in the election. Iow, he's virtually the only person who could legally contest Obama's documents, according to the courts. I'm not going to argue obama's birth certificate, which I feel is not legit, because without a court order to see the original docs, nobody can do anything but argue all day. But how does any honest person get around the ssn number obama uses being assigned to someone in Conn? He's the only person the courts said could contest, and that mf scumbag didn't do it. Yet he 'passes on' this obvious bunch of bs to the FBI, to fulfill his 'obligation'. He sold out his party in 08, and now he's selling out his party in 16. Some ethics.
in georgia Obama was supposed to produce the docs in court. Obama failed to show or produce evidence for his birth. Per court procedure he would have been defaulted and lost. but instead of taking the default Orly taitz put on a circus and lost. I have always wondered if she was not purchased because that was one stupid decision.
I would suggest that you start with the House Ethics Manual (456 pages) or the Senate Ethics Manual (542 pages). You can also visit the House Ethics website or Senate Ethics website for a trove of information.
