So yes, time is more like a hologram. Everything time can contain is contained in the holographic simutaneousness. Time does not pass, but rather, we worm through time like a worm eats through an apple. The worm appears to move as it consumes various aspects of time. The experience of time is a matter of psychological agenda. The hologram is lit by borrowed light, stolen light, transformed light. It is not the same light of Christ. The hologram is "dark" compared to the light of Christ. Certainly, the sun (a star) cannot be considered the light of Christ, since it gives NO KNOWLEDGE of anything, let alone the knowledge of Christ. So where we differ is the idea that any man can be the perfection of Christ. If that were true, Jesus would still be walking around as the perfect man. He doesn't do that because you can't be man and perfect at the same time. Not even Jesus. Likewise, none of us needs to aspire to be a perfect man. We need only accept the fact of Christ. Aha, but what is Christ? That too is where we may differ, To truly accept Christ as is (as Christ is), one must also accept that man does not exist. This is to confirm with the truth: there is no God but Christ. Either you are that "God", or you don't exist. The only matter remaining is some plausible explanation for the strange phenomenon we call "man", and man's world: "hell". You will not get a truthful explanation from the bible, either the old or the new.
Well, it should be obvious then, that you are trying to save man, or at least a few of them, and include yourself among them. Buddha's understanding was good, but Jesus' understanding was better. Good luck getting Buddha's understanding from Buddhists and good luck getting Jesus' understanding from Christians. It's because Christians are trying to save themselves, much like John McCain saved himself. McCain saved himself at the expense of his nation. Man saves himself AT THE EXPENSE OF CHRIST! Contrary to that, Jesus said "lay down your life for [Christ's] sake"...not the other way around. When you, as a man, accept that YOU DO NOT EXIST, you'll begin to understand what it means to lay down your life. The only thing that is being saved is the only thing worth saving: the healthy mind of Christ, minus the psychological aberrations that make up man's "existence" , and man's world: "hell". It's a matter of subtraction, not addition.
The general principle is this: Everything that is/was true for Jesus, is true for you. All conditions that applied to him apply to you. All current conditions that belong to Jesus belong to you. Therfore, you cannot be a man.
Well, the bible and in fact God AND Jesus clearly speak of the existence of heaven and hell. If you deny that then there is no point for you to need Jesus Christ and you do not have to live a life in Jesus's footsteps as you then apparently do not care about where you go. Let's agree to disagree. I cannot disagree more with you and we are even failing to find a shared baseline. I hope you will actually find the truth while you have the opportunity to. Best wishes.
The baseline could be "heaven vs hell", but you are not agreeing with me just what is hell, and so, will probably not agree what is heaven. You should read all my responses here, not just the ones to you. I said THIS IS HELL. "You", are already "here". I call it the "proverbial hell" because there's a lot of misunderstanding about what hell is, and ultimately, hell is a proverb. Hell is "real" only to those who think they dwell there. Darkness is not a luminous term. Darkness describes a lack of knowledge, having replaced knowledge with faith (a bad combo of hope, wishful thinking, and ignorance of reality). Speaking of darkness, it's always amusing to me to see preachers threatening hell on disbelievers when they are already in hell. Judge not lest ye be judged. I hear preachers talking about John 3:16 but they never include the next verse that says if you don't believe [in Christ] you are "CONDEMNED ALREADY", meaning, you are ALREADY IN HELL. Therefore, the purpose of "following Jesus" is to ESCAPE HELL. The way to escape hell is the same way He escaped hell: He accepted Christ, as is, for himself. Likewise, ...you must accept Christ for yourself, Meaning, ...you must accept Christ as your "SELF". Alas, Christians don't accept Christ (as Christ is) for themselves. They do this to save themselves. By "as is" I mean to accept the TOTALITY of Christ, which leaves no room for any other "gods"...neither any Greeks, Jews, men, women, slave or free. In other words, nothing but the TRUTH exists. If "you" are not that REALITY, then "you" must be some kind of "lie", some kind of imposter, some kind of illusion, or some kind of DREAM. Just as there are no God's besides Christ, there are no people, and the is no other world in which people can exist. As I've said, "this world" is only "real" to its darkness dwelling denizens. Have you not been told that the ruler of "this world" is the devil? How then is this not hell? Likewise, I don't think you will agree with me that the proverbial heaven is actually Christ. Heaven is not a place in which Christ lives, it IS, entirely, Christ. So "in heaven", and "in Christ" means the same thing. Likewise, In Christ, and "in Reality" means the same thing. Reality is all around, but no man can see it. What man can see IS NOT REAL...hence, hell is not real.. In order to escape hell, you must accept it's inherent non-existence, and accept the TOTALITY of REALITY as your SELF..as did Jesus.
the fundamental difference is you are expressing the eastern belief that you are God or can become God if you have the knowledge. Your view seems to be the gnosis in gnostic. I am concerned because its the very thing the serpent tempts eve with in the bible. Eat of this tree and you will have the knowledge, you will be God. In a way its what the devil tempted Jesus with in the Desert and while on the Cross. Jesus told us you not to play along with that game. It was not even God's will for Jesus. I have hope that via Gods grace I can be with him outside of time. I can find him in the Light and at Communion but I am not him. I think therefore I am - but not I AM.
