Compromise has definitely been a steady march toward the liberal view. It's past time for us to take about 20 steps back the other way.

And we became the greatest nation during that time. Compromise enables teamwork.

  3. Who is the leader of the Republicans anyway ? I mean despite failing miserably to win the Presidency , shouldn't Romney and Ryan be doing the speaking on behalf of their party?

We are long past 'great nation' status, dunce. We are on the downside of the curve and slipping fast under liberal ways.

    Who cares?

McCain is worried about his seat and/or relevance.. it is his "centrist" views, and those like him, which led to the tea party. The nation has no need need for the socialist (DEM) party and socialist-lite (McVain like REPs) party. Just retire already while you still have the respect of most.

it is almost like McCain is owned by the left. Like maybe they have proof he was a traitor in Viet Nam like some of the websites say.

whenever some conservative idea threatens them the puppet string gets pulled and then McCain pops up to act like his sellout view is reasonable.

Depends on your definition of great. I know I've been hearing how horrible this country is for decades, mostly from the left. And if this country was so great, why did a community organizer claim the country needed to be changed fundamentally? If you ask me, I think the left doesn't want to have to deal with one periodic step back now that utopia is close at hand.

They will soon own healthcare. They will eventually win the gun issue. They own the press. They now have little accountability as the current scandals demonstrate.

The gov in control of everything, which is the road we are on because of continued compromise, is not my definition of a great country.

I wish McCain, Graham, McConnell, & Boner would either:

    A. Run off to a foreign country and stay there.

    B. Fall off the edge of the earth, this afternoon.

    or

    C. Shut the hell up and leave politics.
