Can anyone tell me what the spread was at MB trader today for the 430 news and 830 news this morning... I use oanda and it was 15 pip spread, which is crazy. I am looking at mb trader, anyone who traded the news today let me know your spread and how you like mb trader...Much appreciated
I traded the news today and i recognized max. 1 pip spread at that time... And this is always the case with MB Trading/EFX Group, its one of the most transparent platforms out there...
its official, i am joing MB then tomorrow, oanda is a great platform, I used em for the news, but now there playing hard ball....i guess i will take my business elsewhere
1 pip? No. The GBP/USD will often move up to around 10 pips. This happens seconds before the news is released as the MMs are scrambling. When the actual spike begins, there will often be -spread. Though very difficult to get filled. You have to bid ahead of the market with a limit.
1 pip for EUR/USD, 1-3 for USD/JPY and EUR/JPY. Of course there is a pretty high volatility arround at that times and you should work with limits .
