MB Trading Down

    I'm not an MBT basher by any means but I have to agree that MBT quotes consistently freeze/hang and basically becomes worthless when big news like FOMC results are released.

    MBT-Steve, any plans to improve this so MBT can handle these crunch periods better?

    Has anyone ver noticed he never posts anything positive ie when it runs smoothly?
    Also where is his thread bashing IB?

    btw only one disconnect here relogged back in all fine.

  5. Like I said, why do I have to keep repeating myself to you, dont you listen.

    All brokers have issues, MB Trading just has more ALOT more.

    disconnects from trading server, disconnect from quote server, are a pretty common occurrence, I am not the only one complaining here pal.

    esignal had data problems today too. Could you direct be to your thread about them too?

    Say pal count how many other complaints so far re disconnects in this thread? I assume you can count.

  7. I am going to put you on ignore, and keep pointing out the numerous flaws and connectivity issues that plague this platform.

    Once again for the record, all brokers, data providers, dealing with electronic exchanges have issues, MB Trading just seems to have them every other day.

    Its a back up for me and a poor one at that, but its free and now I know why.

    I mostly disagree with the general comments about the reliability being poor. Of course there will be times where quotes could have problems but certainly a minority of the time and not a majority. I also do not understand why you wouldn't call tech support for help so any problems you may have encountered could be fixed for you rather than whatever your agenda on ET is.

    However in this example of data during the fed announcement I have to say you are right. The quotes on futures were poor due to the burst of highly volitile data. We are looking into the point of failure and I assure you it will be addressed and fixed. Unfortunately today was a burst of data we have not seen in a very long time but nevertheless it will be addressed. Again, as I have said many times in the past, I am here to help and to ensure MBT offers the best product and service available.

    If you're having all these issues with quotes & order entry can you explain why I'm not having the same issues? To me that suggests you have issues at your end, whether it be with your connectivity (dial up, cable, etc.) or whatever piece of hardware you're running your system on. MB occasionally has quotes slow down but I'm not experiencing the frequency that you are. So it would seem to not be a user-wide issue. If you're so dissatisfied you should change to another direct access provider.
