Dave, I assume that you opened a Forex account. I was looking at the MB trading website, http://www.mbtrading.com/fx/basics.asp Main session: ---Opens: Sun. at 5:00 p.m. ---Closes: Fri. at 4:58 p.m. Trading suspended: ---Mon. - Thurs. 4:58 p.m. - 5:06 p.m. ---Sun. - Thurs. 11:58 p.m. - 12:03 a.m. Help desk: ---Sun. 5:00 p.m. - Fri. 5:30 p.m. Just to verify, I spoke with the Help Desk and they stated that it was to update accounts, balances, etc as well as basic server maintenance. I have several accounts with different brokers and it is common to have daily scheduled downtime. I hope this helps. Good Luck with your new account.
Hi David, Everyday at Midnight EST we need to do our daily maintenance. Only the order servers (price servers stay online) shut down for a few minutes and then right back up. Regards, Steve
