MB Forex New Commission Rates

  1. They are quoting GBP/JPY in 0.05 pip increments now. Whats up with that?

    Pretty wide at 5-6 pips too..

  2. Sterling pairs haven't been their specialty lately, not sure why. G/U is 0.5 - 1 pip wider than the other ECNs.

    cannot open account with a card like you can with other brokers. :confused:

  5. legitimate, honest brokers be it Forex or not don't accept credit cards... wire transfer only pretty much.

    cards are a sign of bucket shops

  6. I could think of a bazillion more useful things than cards that they should implement. Like EUR accounts (amongst other ccys). Or that they pay interest on cust funds. Or accept bills or other AAA govt paper for margining purposes. Or an universal account ala IB. Or eurex acess. Or ..

    Pippi- you hit the nail on the head. Why not accept AAA gov't paper for margin?

  8. I haven't read the contract terms but I think they are... CFD's trading, being the market maker setting the prices "in the house" etc... but not sure.

  9. MB also just announced ACH transfers for forex accounts a couple days ago.
