I can't remember the name of the firm but they started the company and wrote one of the original day trading books. Are they still around?
May be, but they were early and probably scored large. That's all that counts. Any idea where they are today? Hedge fund, Tahiti, or back on the options floor (unlikely).
Yeah ...go back and quote this "Yes they are taking away IM because of compliance just like I mentioned." And NO THEY ARE NOT....You just have to get off of your fat ass and stop losing your shirt for a second and tell your GSP that you want IM...Then they'll start archiving them for compliance reasons. God you are an Assent hater obviously why dont you take your 10k and go elsewhere.?
He has no answer cause he knows of none. He's obviously an angry trader that simply has been losing money and needs something to blame. Oh and here's your quote Hydroblunt about where you said they're taking away AIM and then said you never said it. "Yes, they even decided to take away Instant Messenger even though many many traders IM each other with stocks and moves. Maybe you're not replying cause you're getting high on some hydro....LOL.
Quote me asshole, go ahead quote me where I said they DID not they WILL. Past vs future tense, simple common sense. Oh and guess what. No more IM as of today. Dumb shit. Whether I'm a horrible trader or not, you really have no clue. Whether I am having a hard time, yes. Am I being let to trade what I want and how I want? NO. Am I allowed to go into the group I wanted for 7 months since the one I originally started under fell apart? NO. Bunch of BS politics that hindered me for a while but after all it is my fault, I should have left the firm months ago. At the time I thought I would be worse off at the other firms. The bullshit I have went through just starting under two scumbags and then being forced under someone else is enough to write three scripts about. Is it the firm's fault? No, not at all. But it is a reflection of how things are allowed to run here, in spite of the new corporate image. I never said I hated the firm at all, but I do not think they are living up to their rep at all. I've stayed here cause I AM MAKING MONEY, pretty damn good for only after 7 months and premium commissions. I have also stayed optimistic about the firm's progress and my progress in it regardless of the BS politics. Well I was wrong. Live and learn. Hammer is not bad, I never said it was. I've clearly stated it's a good trading platform but no longer great. 2 years ago it ruled the street, now it's maybe up to par with the rest. Most of the other platforms are very similiar but better because they are newer and updated. I've seen Hold's, looks almost the same with more options. Lightspeed, I have heard from several traders, is much better.
Again you're wrong. AIM is available. Like I said schmuck...speak to your GSP and get yourself AIM if thats the only way you know how to make your money. IT's not taken away it's available to all but like all compliant firms you need to fill out some paperwork. Ciao piker.
You dont really trade at the firm do you? Why would they take it away instead of just providing forms and telling everyone they are going to archive it. We spoke to GSP, there are ways around it and not talking about the paperwork. Out of curiosity do you even realize how network firewalls work, especially in an office full of 200+ traders? Just think about the process, it makes little sense to block it all off and then selectively allow some to use it again. Enough of this nonsense, I'm arguing with a fool that can't even tell the difference between past & future tense and can only flame away out of uncalled anger. Good luck to your hating soul, I suck, you rule, you win, argument over.
Hydro, You just have to fill out a form to get your AIM back. It will take less than a minute. Actually, it's not even a form. You just have to sign up (It's a compliance thing).
Any!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I would have to go with Lightspeed. Handsdown............just my 2 cents
