  3. Well you are way out of the loop. I was told like a month ago by a compliance officer that Instant Messenger will be gone. Last week the tech support told everyone in our office, about 200 traders, that Instant Messenger is going to be blocked.

thats a compliance issue...if the firm can't or wont archive ALL records of ALL chats, then they cant have IM capability. Just like email they have to archive all emails.

OK...First it was "they even blocked instant messenger".
Now it's a compliance officer told you this, a tech told me this. Again...talk to me when it happens. Like I told Don. Dont assume.

And I cannot take you seriously as your screen name is Hydroblunt.

  8. I never said "they even blocked instant messenger". I never stated or implied that it already happened but I clearly stated that it is going to happen. Do you know how to tell the difference between past, present & future tense? Do I really need to go back and quote myself and then explain it like you are a child?

Yes they are taking away IM because of compliance just like stuckie mentioned. I guess they dont want to archive chat sessions.
Like I said, more corporate BS in return for??? A small panic every other month over a year old rumor of the firm being sold?

You are saying there are improvements, well let's hear em. It certainly isnt the trading platform which simply is not better or even as good as the competition's anymore. Used to be the best, but the I don't live in the past.
