No,not really. Generally the more storable it is the more time it stays in contango. Metals are almost always in contango, energy less then corn, wheat... and on the other side you have soybean meal, sugar... I don't know for Heating oïl. I know it can't be stored indefinitely. There are some energy traders who know much more than me here.
I still find october to be overvalued compared to December for example. Anyone has an explanation for this year's curve shape?
