On single stock issue for example BIG/CG and multiple others the volume for May expirations is 22-23 ATM total open contracts. Where is June/Julys are in the 200-300 per close to ATM strikes. We do have dividend events on most of them nearing June but why is May so low on multiple companies?
April is still the front month and June is a quarterly would be my guess. What companies are you talking about specifically?
BIG, CG, BX, were some of the ones I was doing a vertical on and could not find volume in strikes to work with my strategy.
