  1. you left out option "none", because there is no account regardless of size where you can consistently double your money year in, year out.

sorry, that's the fantasy of newbies.

For a account with less than 200,000 in equity a return of 50% per-quarter or 300% per-year compounded is typical for a decent trader.

  5. Most experienced scalper should be able to double their account size (at least!!!) up to $250k without too much problem every single year.

Doubling $25k account every year? That's very easy for any established scalper. Very easy....

    Doubling $1 million account consistently?

Wooo, I don't know about that one. Doable but much tougher for sure....

    Gentlemen

Take the assumption ,that retail sector have not any edge

    win/loss 50% to 50% by risk reward 1:1

From 1024000(rule of great quantities) operators ,which started with 2000 -2500$
account and would made 100% of profit reinvestment

    1024 would going with 2 mln -2.5 mln $

That is only possible under ideal conditions ,top broker ,no commission ,no tax ,no technology/legal issue

Instruments with great liquidity to perform 1 mln $ bet
    exist enough ...

See A.Puankare(value of scientific hypothese) ,Shannon ,J.von Neumann ,Kelly (game theory)

That Funadamental,Technical analysis and market santiment
give to any retail operator any edge is only hypothese ...

Exist some very low quantity of operators (all institutional) -Minervini,Seykota ,Schwartz which performed 1000 time's for 10 years .Exist alsov lotto winner with 100 mln $

    Your respectfully

  7. On smaller account size allowance should be made for the value of the trader's time.

For example full time trading to increase from $25,000 to $50,000
only represents maybe $15 /hour for the trader's time.

My definition of a successful trader is someone who earns more than the risk free rate of interest on trading capital plus the value of his time.

If value is determined by what someone is willing to pay. How would you value the time of 'self' employed trader?

    252 days * 8 hours *15 $ is 30240$ it is more as
    100% on 25000 $ in one year

no payement for holiday ,no social insurance(in EU very high )
    &

it must be more as 100 % on 25000 $ capital ,if include all state insurance ,which received bynormal job ,suspect some 300 %
