  1. It looks like 20-day combine is available now. Why don't you try the longer one this time ?

Thanks Michael. Kudos to you for taking a very different and innovative approach to marketing your product. I think you made the list as the most talked about vendor in the history of ET and this thread was #1 in the prop section for both page views and post count. At least you are getting your money's worth. I look forward to your "cool ET announcement". I hope it's better then Trump's. :)

I was seriously considering trying my hand at a Combine, should I wait for the announcement instead?

  4. Looking forward to Lucrum's combine. Whatever happened to OracleWizard? He was going to participate. Any word?

I am using the 14 day trial as the 'combine' and its conditions at the same time familiarize myself with the platform. I will give an update if you want.

The DOM is different to what I am using. It seems awkward. and I already screwed up an OCO:eek: That aside still 'profitable' (2 days).

Trading through the TST at the same time my own account is going to take some getting used to. The simple answer is to trade exactly the same way on both, but prioritize the real account.

One thing Hoag mentioned and since was confirmed by their 'agent' is that we do have the option of customizing the conditions of the 'combine' before entering; so using the 14 day trial is another way of figuring out what will be be the best way to set up.

  6. I'm waiting for a response to an inquiry I posted on the Q&A thread regarding a custom combine.

Not sure what announcement they're making however if any changes are favorable to the trader then might as well wait.

  7. It seems there are many who have tried the T4 platform and have the same issues regarding order placement. I had several screw ups during the 14-day trial regarding the "T", "S" and "OCO" orders. You have to make sure if it's highlighted or not, or it makes a difference in how the order is executed.

Thus far everyone who passed got funded using the T4, so I guess it's not that bad once you get used to it.

Ninja offers a free sim account for 30 days via their partner vendors, so you can check that out as well before deciding which one to use for the combine. I found the Ninja DOM much more user friendly in terms of visual and execution. Although if you go with Ninja then there's a license fee for data, whereas on T4 the data is included.

  8. NinjaTrader is super easy for trade execution. I assume most here uses charts?

If so, you simply execute directly from the charts. No need for a hypnotizing DOM, unless you actually use the DOM to read price.

I`ll be starting a Combine within two weeks if everything goes as planned with a personal project I`m currently doing on the side.

Will be interesting to follow if other people are joining as well. :)

  10. As in posting daily results?

Not sure if I`m interested in the heat and politics associated with that, but I would not mind posting my performance after I finish the Combine. I don`t see how it would benefit me to post daily performance reports.

Which Combine will you be starting?

I want to do a Combine for a $150K account. Profit target for 10 days is $12 000/$1200 per day. Profit target for 20 days is $16 000/$800 per day.

Passing the 20 days is obviously easier, but I`m not really motivated for paper trading for 4 weeks.

I will be trading ES, possibly some CL, but I will focus on ES. The performance requirements are strict for the kind of leverage I`m interested in utilizing, but it should be achievable.

I`m considering asking if they`re interested in reducing the profit target to $10 000 for the 10-day Combine as in a custom combine. As I understand it, they will not even evaluate a P&L of $11 500 regardless of the performance profile (low or no drawdown).

    Regards,

    LF.
