If,and that is a big IF, Austin was to succeed in being funded by these clever, opportunistic ( is that a word) entrepeneurs of fantasy, good luck to him and it does not really matter how much he should earn to anyone. His choice to participate; his time.

It was simply an exercise of 'sim trading' with accountability for a fee.

the only thing i can figure is marketsurfer can't make money trading. he has proven his "price drivers" are a joke. maybe at one point he tried using technical analysis and he couldn't make money with that approach. so he figures if he couldn't make money using ta no one can.

  3. I have made and lost money over time. Just like any real trader.

No, you are not correct. My issue is with the objective TA crew that claim TA systems can be automated to create virtual ATM trading systems. Their words, not mine. This is total BS, for more reasons than I care to write. Not to mention, they won't even participate in the 10 day test called the Combine.

  4. Crucify? Real traders lose-- dont get brainwashed

Huh? There is a set criteria, pass it and you get funded. No risk trading. No other vendor offers this at such a low entry bar. dats a fact jack.

Thus, it seems, you have presented yourself as having some expertise in trading? Is that not right?

And is it pushing the envelope too much to presume that expertise in this case means the ability to make a profit?

I think the obvious answer is yes.

So those who take issue with you...don't they have a complete right to do so without you getting so defensive?

How about you provide a real service and share what you learned from your experience?

  6. For your last two days, you gotta be flipping 5-lots of crude oil and "swing for the stars"........or explode on the launch pad......in a blaze of glory. :D :p  :)

It is like saying, it doesn't matter how many zeros are in your P/L after the first digit. If you think trading is a hobby, sure you don't have to care. But if the whole idea behind TST that talent can be discovered and they eventually can make a living while risking very little, then sure it matters.

Austin is going to be our test rabbit....

that wasn't nodoji's words. that's you taking different comments out of context. listen, nodoji could post a some p&l statements for a couple different days and that would end this.

i don't understand why you are so hellbent that trading using technical analysis can't be done profitability. do you really believe that no person is profitable trading using technical analysis?

  9. Everyone seems to overlook the fact that this is not an either/or process. I trade for myself, I have traded for myself and I will trade for myself (and possibly others) with or without TST funding.

Other than today's vacation, there hasn't been one session where I did not work for myself and "work" the TST program alongside. How hard is that to grasp?

Let's say for the other side of this coin I eventually pass the requirements, become funded at $150,000 and average +$5k per week in profits.

That would be +$20k per month and would soon kick me into the 80% profit share bracket. So an additional $16k per month / $192,000 annual from that example... just for clicking a few buttons each day in the TST account alongside my own.

Who here amongst us would walk past a free $192,000 cash just lying (laying? I always get that useage confused) on the sidewalk across the street. All you have to do is look both ways, walk across the street and pick it up.

Does that seem worthwhile to anyone else here? Or just me?

  10. No, cherry picked statements are meaningless. Anyone who makes claims must be tested in a controlled manner like the combine

Yes, I really believe there is no such thing as a profitable objective TA fixed system.
