I have a fellow trader friend in Florida who trades the ES and his method is so amazingly complex that when he talks about it, I just cannot focus on all the details. Yet he knows it all like the back of his hand. Fortunately I don't have to trade his method!

plan your trading and trade your planning Well, maybe half of that today. Persistent internet outages this morning nixed my short attempts from CL 91.80s and .70s blended. So I caught the next sequence lower, blended from 91.46 and out at 90.70 on partial contract-block size. CL has traded from its open range to measured objective below, 100-cent range. CL did what it is supposed to do. I did half of mine. If trading real money? Done for the day. Again. But we're chasing performance from behind pace to qualify... so the story for today continues on
Do you not run back up internet service ? Why not stop everyday at 2k to conserve profits to smoothly reach the objective ?

posting on downtime is one thing, giving up a day's gain to prove a point is a direct cost (ie. missed revenue)
