Day 4 out of 10 for Mav. Only traded one product. Indeed a dead day. These are very difficult days to trade. Good recognition to shut it down. No trades once again for Marketsurfer.
Any particular reason why you want to complete it in ten consectutive sessions, even though it allows for ten within the next 30 calendar days?
I will be stepping down from the combine having blown out the sim account this morning. I was distracted and didn't have stops in place going from +500 to - blowout very quickly during the early session. NO EXCUSES, 100% my fault. Good luck to Mav and Austin! surf
No, the blow out was because I didn't have stops in place. Not due to bad entries. check the tape, I was up over 500 on the PD entries-- then was distracted ( away from the trading desk ) and wasn't able to self exit in time. surf PS-- to everyone, when trading with such tight parameters--here's what I learned-- ALWAYS USE STOPS, EAT LIKE A BIRD not a PIG, and don't have any distractions. surf
mp- We recommend to all traders and recruits, do not trade if you are not fully committed to making progress, SIM, paper trading, Live trading etc. You're time is money and this business takes a lot of time to work out the kinks and understand what works for you. mp
I've got a doctors appointment today so going to post my results early. Had my first software error. Completely my fault. Left 4 orders in that I thought I had pulled and they all got hit. Down 796. Had 4 losers all about 200 each. Only the first one was suppose to fill. Completely my fault. I did catch the error right away and put stops in on all 4 positions and the stops got hit. Nothing terrible. Just carelessness on my part. Going to have to work some here to accomplish my stated goals. Overall, down 1% in the account. Had a MUCH bigger swing in my personal account today which distracted me a little to say the least.
