Patak-is the squawk box a real squawk box, or is it some guy at TST repeating everything that comes in? A real squawk subscription costs about as much as cable, and it's against their user rules to redistribute it without purchasing multipule licenses. However a dude repeating it after the fact is allowed (more useless to traders).
Hey... that's a little unfair to them to say the least. I'm not sure what you mean but I did use their squawk box... Hoag calls out the market activity as it happens. So you'll hear him saying stuff like... "Goldman bought 150 cars at the bid..."... Or something like it. Along with that they call out the live news as it comes in. You can hear a siren in the background from the CME and the news comes out, they call it real time. You can also hear market activity in the background with the traders calling out their bids/offers when they get louder. Maybe Michael can add more to this...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- we had a football player here,i think he was a tight end, who gamed the NFL combine by training for the various trial events i.e highth in jumps,.. 220 dash etc etc and passsed with flying colors in the draft. his proficiency in the combine did not hold up when it came time to play and he washed out shortly and was cut So in the scenario discussed here we would have similar results The legallity of this is easy to protect against also ergo nobody wins cheers john

I am assuming you only access to the futures market and no access to equities ( etfs nor individual equities ) - right? Do you get access to all futures or just the ones you pick for the combine ( or the ones a trader thinks they will use in the combine if they are still "warming up ). Thanks.

atticus- It is squawk radio (providing info from all over) not a squawk box (announcing only activity in one pit). We have trading pits (chatrooms) where traders discuss 6e or es or whatever they want.. So yes you will find it helpful.
