  1. That is the of the makes me really just pity the americans who complain at paying $8s per gallon!!

If you think thats expensive come to the UK and travel by taxi here!! :D  :p

An average car can do 32miles to the gallon, so with gasoline at $8s that equals $4s to travel 1mile!

In UK with gasoline at its current $1.4 (roughly £1), to travel 1mile in a taxi will cost you minimum £6 ($10s).

So we are 'currently' already paying and affording to pay $20s per gallon!!

And thats just druing the daytime, you travel after 11pm on a friday or saturday night you pay over $30s per gallon.

So you have got it ridiculously easy already.

  2. Check your math buddy.

At 32miles/gallon and at $8/gallon. you'll be paying $1/4miles not $4/ mile like you said. So you're not paying $20/gallon...$20/gal Makes very little sense sense.

  3. Whoops, pressed the wrong calculator button. lol

Well we are currently paying $5 per gallon, even with energy prices so close to thw lows and down over 60% from the highs.
