Matlab or Maple

Any opinions on either of these products from users?

I like both. However, I went with python. It's free and open. I think knowledge is proportional to human endeavors.

 

I am vaguely acquainted with Python from 3d rendering years ago.

I never considered this as a financial exploratory environment.

I'll check it out.

I have Mathematica but continue to encounter problems that consume my time and patience.

matlab is far more advanced and more widely used.. i definitely prefer matlab
