Mathematics of stock movements

    Yep, a lot of people here want to trade with little or no math at all. Better yet, with numerology: fibonacci nonsense ad nauseum.

  4. There's not too much math behind fear and greed. Markets move because people call their brokers and go "sell 2,000,000 shares in the market, at any price, just get me out by the end of the day." Then the order is worked and the stock falls. No math here.

    Most if not all math is based on prices.
    KISS... Keep it simple or you're stupid.
    All math applied to prices is a crutch that people who follow prices don't need or want .
