Math won't help you understand Bitcoin

  1. Well technically its digital real estate if you want to be more accurate. It is a store of value/investment with huge potential, and no real downside risk, that you can borrow against, sell or transfer with ease. Just like real estate, bitcoin has booms and busts all the time. Anyway, when are these naysayers going to get tired of having egg on their face?

I do see a downside risk. And I'd guess that you do also or you'd be fully invested right now rather than waiting for a opportunity to average down.

As for putting BTC up for collateral, where can you borrow fiat with BTC as collateral?

  3. Its a trick question, you should have put the 100k in bitcoin last year after the ftx meltdown and you would now have 412k :)

    (you get my point)

Although I somewhat agree to this sentiment, its almost like saying you will let the fox guard the hen house, but they must agree to a set of rules, which we all know will be broken.

Simply put, the world went through a renaissance when we separated church from the state. Next is separating money creation from the state. Do we really want the government to have the power to print up money when they think its necessary? Its obvious they will rescue their friends first with this power.

Imagine if we gave the government the power to dictate how the internet will work and what protocols can be used. The only solution is for the citizens of the world to pick what they want to use as money and then the role of the government is to collect taxes and distribute this to projects that are deemed worthy. If you don't like it at a citizen, you can always attempt to change the government or vote with your feet by leaving. Eventually citizens learn to not elect idiots who don't represent them. But currently, the idiots find it too easy to print up money to cover up bad decisions.

If you ask me, we are in the final inning. The combo of debt, deficit, interest rates, and social upheaval have already put the collapse in plain sight and people need to prepare for the new world order.
