  3. Had you read the whole thread you'd see instantly that to get to this very low level, (as you've stated) I had to cut several gradients.

    See for yourself. :)

try again. Maybe some chinese or korean might have just joined ET. Or maybe even some blacks. All nationalities welcome. All eligible for american citizenship and an intro to a life of "debt financing" :D :D

    cutting the gradient .....

Two roommate wall street traders travel to work on a circular railway. Their office is situated diametrically opposite to their home. In one direction from home to the office it takes 1 hr 20 min., but in the other direction, only 80 min. - why?

    ------------------------

An ET farmer has 1 5/8 ( one & five-eights) haystacks in one field, and 2 9/27 (two & nine-twentyseventh) haystacks in another field. If he put them together, how many haystacks will he have?

Feel free to use a sliderule :)

    ---------------------------

You have 6 identical matchsticks. Make some equilateral triangles. What is the max. # of such triangles you can make?

    supercomputers may be used :)

  7. More fun for the stupidest people on earth ..... :) :D

Complete the series shown by filling in the next 5 lines. Anyone who gets it, gets instantly promoted to "duffer" - generally a 75% improvement at ET.

Note the sheer beauty and transcendental-ness - take a break from your overly stupid consumption of TVs, cars and whatnot. :) :D

    1 x 8 + 1 = 9
    12 x 8 + 2 = 98
    123 x 8 + 3 = 987
    1234 x 8 + 4 = 9876

  8. adding 2 more lines

    1 x 8 + 1 = 9
    12 x 8 + 2 = 98
    123 x 8 + 3 = 987
    1234 x 8 + 4 = 9876
    12345 x 8 + 5 = 987 65
    123456 x 8 + 6 = 987654
