  9. Are you asserting that nothing can have value simply
because it can cease to exist in the future?

If all the joy/pain you feel in life "doesnt matter" simply because
we die, then may I come over there and torture you
    for months while I yell:

"But dark! Its OK... because it DOESNT MATTER" :D

    Not making sense.

    i did not say that.

for the simple reason atheism does not describe a belief held, it describes a belief NOT held. you too are making the apples to oranges comparison. the correct comparision is between results from postive statements of belief, not a positive statement on one side and a negative statement on the other. it isn't between atheism and theism, it's between, eg, existentialism and theism. or marxism and theism. or etc etc etc.

of course. atheism isn't a tool because it is not a belief system - it does not describe what you DO believe, it only describes one specific thing you DO NOT believe in. it is an attribute of belief systems, not a belief system itself.

all belief systems - certainly including theist ones - are useful as meanst of control. materialism, communism, nihilism - systems of beliefs generally associated with atheists - are also great systems of control.

before you can proceed anywhere with your argument, you need to back up and fix your base problem - the conflating of an element of disparate belief systems with belief systems themselves.
