Question: Did they trade rice futures back then??? Knowing Emporer Qin Shi Huang was going to build such a large terracotta army, maybe clay futures were hot back then...
Hi ~~~, Hmmm.... So romantic.... This must be the most romantic scene that I have ever visualized. Hmmm, I believe in fate, everything has a reason for it to happen or not to happen. It's up to the One above to determine.... "... the "holy grail of trading" is actually buried in You..." Thank you very much for the sage advice. See, I learn something new everyday here on this forum. --po
Hi Boli, Gee!!! Why am I here learning how to trade, may be I should go over to HK to learn how to sell "small eats" at Causeway Bay. But wait, I will get lost at Causeway Bay just like the way I get lost daily at deciding where the market is trending. --po
Nope .. they had remarkably beautiful rice terraces back then .. even now you can still find those remarkably beautiful rice terraces in China. I'm sure there's shortage in supply of clay when Emperor Qin Shi Huang was building the amazing large terracotta army LOL Ditto .. when Beijing was building the Olympic stadium ~ the Bird's Nest .. there's shortage in supply of steel in the world.

Hellooooo, I am back! Market gapped up more than 100 points at the opening today. With yesterdayâs last half hour move and gap up, market has finished 2 push ups. At 6:50am. Market pulled back at the support level which formed at the fist half an hour. It was also a tradable double bottom pullback with small bottoming tails. I didnât enter the trade, because No.1 market finished 2 leg pushes. No.2. the reports come up at 7:00am. Although the internals show bullish. Market took off right after the reports come up. I am OK to let go since itâs not part of my trading strategies. After market up more than 230 points. It will be really difficult to trade break out âI learned the lessons. So I will only go long after fluid selloff or long at the failed break down. Then price actions have been choppy the rest of the day. I couldnât get any piece of meat from it! TRADE A: double bottom pullback long. The 3rd push of the trend so I took a quick scalp. Minor profit. TRADE B: Point A is a failed break down pattern. I missed the entry on Point A. so I entered with a pullback. But I was shaken out of the trade by the choppiness on 2 min chart. It was a scratched trade. TRADE C: a short, A break down from base. It was stopped out for a small loss. Didnât enter on long at 12:30 doji bar with long tail- the start of the late day break out. It wasnât a clean double bottom pattern to me. Todayâs PnL: -$12, 5 trades, 60% winrate
Yest, that's what I heard too. that tiny fishball booth was one of the most expensive rental space in the whole world!! the one cross from time square! It also happens to be one of my favourite street food vendors too!
No idea how to play Mahjong too! I would rather learn Poker game first! You are so right about the coffee shop/bookstore business in HK. In HK everything is fast fast, moving supper fast! Reading to them could be the end of the priority list...
Besides those trucks, I was almost run over by some bicycles too! hehe... Had a seafood dinner at Lamma island, It was a rip off! Ordered one Pee-Pee shimp cost over $200 HK dollars with no meat in it! It was as tiny as a small dry shimp you could find in Ranch 99... I was so pissed! Speaking of being run over. One day I was walking around in Soho, on the peak. I think it was a tiny street crossed on Welington street, couldn't remember exactly the name. The street was so narrow, I walked on narrow pedestrian. One guy walked out from a shop, so I had to make room for him to cross, one of my leg stepped down on the street, then that guys was screaming: watch out the car". At first I couldn't understand what he is screaming about, at the same time I felt something was on my left foot. Then I turned my head back, it was a brandnew car behind me, and its brand new tire literally on top of my foot!!! I tried to look inside, but the glass was so dark. then I lifted my foot back on the pedestrian. that shinny brand new car just drove away without appology! And now oh, I see it's a brand new small model of the Bentley! I was so shocked. He didn't even bother to say "are you ok!" my leg was almost cut off! I can still feel the tire was on top of my feet! .... How rude! Just because you drive a new bentley didn't make you better!! Besides that, I like everything about Hong Kong!
Hi Matcha, Welcome b-a-c-k!!!!!! It's great to read your trading journal again. Yeap! Today, all the action were pre-market and the first 35 minutes. The rest of the day was amazingly in a relatively narrow range. How's HK and Shanghai? --po
