8.19 Sorry, a bit late posting today. First 4 trades were challenging. All stopped out. First trade was betting on a double bottom long, but failed. Failed double bottom signals a continue falling. Sellers continued being aggressive. $TRIN and $ADD showed bearish. So I took all short positions for the day. Trade A finally worked. Took profit at the support level on 15 min chart. Although the trade worked, it was just recouped my early losses. After 9:00. Market started to retrace. At 10:40, market finished a 3 pushes move then formed a double top at resistance level. All the internals signal bearish. So I entered a short position at 10:40. Took profit at the double bottom pattern at 11:08. Next 2 trades were sctached trades and I approached daily maxi. trades, I betted on short at the continue retrace. I am glad I was out quickly at b/e since market then rallied up. Todayâs profit: $135. 8 trades, 50% winrate. What I did wrong was either stop too large or move stop too quickly. Even the 2 trades worked out very well, I still donât have a very profitable day. No trade for today. Back late and market is choppy nowâ¦
Thank you for the chart~~~ I use stop limits. I use one tick above pivot high too. But I just often move my stop very quickly.... I got to work on that
I hear ya, I have the same problem. It sounds crude, but I have been using a 5 minute rule where I don't play with my stops at all. Its not perfect, but it works alright.
You know how expensive the rentals and properties in Hong Kong? tiny tiny little shop's rental is so high/expensive! if the customer just buy a cuppa of cuppacinno or latte and sits for hours to read a book ..oh well..maybe making a profit it's not so important for the boss LOL anyway, HK people love to spend time making $$$ and love to play mahjong ( i still dunno how to play mahjong, stupid me ..sigh!) love to go shopping, eating out at restaurants, go to Jacky Cheung's concert, watch movies & T.V.. love to go horse racing,.. go to macau's casino to gamble etc, etc.. so where got time to read huh?? (just kidding LOL) hmmm..PO.. lately how's your trading? Good? any Improvement? i went to Xian and found my terracotta warrior.. i'm very lucky and happy! Hope your trading is going well..
Hi ~~~, Glad that you found your warrior in Xian. You must had a great time there. With all your help and others on this thread, I have learned a lot and improved on several fronts - especially on the discipline part. Still working on being consistent though. Probably have another 8,000 hours to go before reaching that goal. Thank you everyone. Wish you all have a great weekend! --po
I agree. You know what the most lucrative business in Hong Kong is? Selling small eats. Fish balls, fake shark fin soup, eggettes, etc.. They are willing to pay highest rent for a tiny outfit in the most busiest corner in Causeway Bay (where PO had a hard time getting oriented)... to sell small eats. These guys make millions a year. Serving coffee to let you sit down to browse/read a book without paying for it... unheard of! In Lamma Island... hope you don't get run over by those motorized miniature trucks. About 2-3 feet in width and 8-inch wheels... they zoom those things in crowded pedestrian walkpaths (there is no street on the island) at 15 mph within 4 inches of your toes!
Boli ... i agree 101% on what you said ... these guys make millions a year and they paid little tax LOL.. All cash and so yummy yummy!
Yeah ... I'd made up my mind to find my tc warrior and I know he's somewhere out there in Xian, so i packed my bags and took a deep breath to find him LOL * * * many, many thousand years ago * * * ~ far far away.. somewhere in the ancient capital of the Middle Kingdom... a cresent moon hanging on the starry sky at a windy nite. You and I were under a flowing williow tree..I was playing the "pipa" and you were playing the "guqin" .. You read beautiful poems to me and I'd gazing at you with amaze ...the nite was drunk and we're lost in love. I was in your arms whispering the words you loved to hear.. our inthetwined heartbeats were flying to the moon. Life's so amazingly beautiful !!! By the order of the Emperor Qin, You had to go to war immediately.. my world suddenly crumbling down .. painfully..I helped you to wear a dark purple crest hat .. helped you to put on the warrior armor and kissed you goodbye in tears ... I sent my beloved warrior off riding on a horse that gone too soon ... That's was it ... I never see you again! My heart broken into million pieces... * * * many, many thousand years later * * * ~ i run thru the valley and i run thru the fields ...finally i found my warrior in a tomb.. oh darling .. all these years.. you're suffering in toil.. in extreme hardshp and heartache and in bloods.. I'm so sorry that I was not around with you... I wanted to be with you but I didn't know where're you, so I couldn't find you. Now today... it's the day of rejoice! I found You and I'm not letting you go.. so I am asking the FedEx to help me to deliver You, my ancient 6 ft tall terracotta warior to my house... It's not a perfect ending but many thanks to farmer in Xian ... the TerraCotta Warriors were found in an incredible tomb. * * * the end * * * To PO: sometimes we can't be with the person we wanted to be with ... because of her .. you cannot be with the 'sweet'- her.. but it's okay coz next life you can be with the 'sweet'- her LOL I'm glad that I found my terracotta warrior in China and for you finding the "holy grail' in trading ... You don't have to travel to Europe or anywhere in the world coz It's In You!!! .. You just have to seach hard enought and you'll find the "holy grail of trading" is actually buried in You. Good Luck PO.
