    Are noob questions allowed here?

    1. Does the index trade all day in the US?

    2. Is this DOW/Nasdaq/S&P? Or all of them?

    Thanks.

  4. Fed lowered rates

  5. Futures on the indexes trade even though the indexes are not open.

Could somebody post the ES times and sales during the rate cut?
    How bad were stops run?

Was anybody in index futures when the fed cut....would like to hear how you handled it.

Were stops run all the way to the top of the move?

  8. No one at ET was caught short, as I told them before the close Thursday to expect a 50 point gap up.

Thats why you dont see anyone begging for mercy.

Yes, I understand that call also came with a monterary guaranty

  10. Its pretty hard to find out a guy caught in a -40 point move that would admit such huge stop.

Anyway, i think "pros" or "experienced traders" may thought that shorting after thursday's close wasn't the best idea, so, may be that's the reason none its making such big deal of it.
