Well, in his defense, someone had already created the moniker "AK Forty Seven". That's the one he really wanted.
He posted this before deleting it: I guess he realized what a stupid argument that would be given that Canada is 37 million people, less than 2% black and the urban comparison wasn't...how shall we say...relevant.
Our next door neighbor Canada for starters.Nearly all countries has lower gun deaths than the US though.
Ah, there it is. Must have forced his hand when I posted the image. US gun deaths statistics are massively adjusted when you remove urban gang crime. Which, of course, points to the urban gang crime being the problem, not the guns.
Ah, so crime just might be driven by socio-economic factors and not firearms! Thanks for admitting this, Tony!
Well there’s something other than just guns. If you want to have an intelligent debate drop the gun death rate, that includes suicides, hunting accidents et al. If we’re talking criminal deaths you need to compare gun homicide rates per capita. Where you’ll find the US isnt that bad compared to other countries. Several of those on top of the list are basically no gun zones. Again the problem you’ll find is a cultural, societal issue not an inanimate object problem.
