You’re whole premise is flawed, based on stripping law abiding citizens of their firearms, and making it illegal to possess said firearms. Those laws are already on the books in Illinois, they do nothing to deter the criminal element there.

Which countries are you refering too? Those that have stricter gun laws like Brazil, Venezuela, Jamacia, South Africa...or countries that have basically zero gun laws and low crime like Switzerland perhaps?
