So one article.... just one article.... out of all the articles from the left leaning media was critical of Obama, eh?
Can you give an example. I would guess O'Romney care could be one of these issues except that opinion was nearly perfectly balanced. Democrats (the majority party) were initially almost 100% in favor, and Republicans 100% opposed, i.e., perfect balance. In the end enough compromises were made to win over enough of the Democrat holdouts to get the ACA pushed through without a single Republican vote. That's as close to balance as we are likely to see on any issue. Actually I am hard pressed to think of a single issue where 'the balance of [public] opinion' was decidedly against Obama. Can you think of one? I'm sure there must be something. Be gentle, I am old and quite forgetful.
You said the media should report negatively on Trump (or the Trump administration) if the balance of public opinion was negative. The media has be decidedly positive to Obama, and Clinton despite an approval rate vastly lower than 50% in some cases during Obama's administration and certainly in Clinton's run for office. When 42% of people disapprove of how you're running the country (as was Obama's approval at certain points in his tenure), the media should be reporting negatively on you, right? That's pretty much what you said. But I don't recall it ever being all that tough on Obama.
Once again Piezoe wallpapers over dirty pieces of Obamacare history... with unicorns and cotton candy. Obamacare was to be single payer. When the insurance companies told Obama it would not be... I think 70 or so Congressional democrats decided to hold out for single payer. Then Obama and his team of sellouts beat those good dems into submission with all sorts of threats and deals. Nothing to do with balance and everything to do with bad politics and dirty money.
The mass media overwhelmingly supported the ACA during the legislative process, you ignorant fool. The media was not "balanced." Logical argument is lost on you.
I am going to make a wild guess here that if I claim to be able to grab women by the genitals and get away with it, and I also happen to be running for president, I will get more media coverage than you. The coverage will proably be a little on the negative side. (I know it is ridiculous for me to use such an unlikely example, but nevertheless...)
