Oh Pooh, there are plenty of legitimate philosophical questions to this issue. And philosophy is the basis of law and government before you deride it as akin to basket weaving. This will just lead to more crime. Think about it. You have always wanted to rob a bank. Now you can, and if you screw up all you have to do is give up a kidney and you are out in short order. And then, you can try again. This time all you have to do is give up some bone marrow. Some criminals wouldn't give a crap about that 2nd kidney or their bone marrow.
