Rather than starting World War 3 and extinction I support the UN as the only hope !! Corrupt and nearly useless - well yes but better than nuking each other I suppose.

  2. I wasn't really thinking that big, I was just talking down on the local level. No, no US citizen will ever succumb to the UN. You start pulling that shit and there really will be a nuclear WWIII.

The only solution is the one forwarded by Ron Paul - end regulation, all together. Strip the Government of it's power and there's nothing to corrupt, or pander for. Most regulations serve to indemnify business from liability, anyhow. Americans are too pussy for this route. They have become infantile, dependent children that want "Daddy" Government to take care of them.

  4. hey Humpy, We will never forgive you for what you did to us. And now I have family in Isreal and they feel the same way about their land. And when I say fight to the death, that's exactly what I mean. We'd all rather die than go back to the way it was.

The UN is really just the body politik to achieve global government. Check out Agenda 21. Most Western countries, including America, are implementing it's marching orders, as we speak.

  6. yes, I agree, make govenment so powerless that it isn't even worth bribing anymore.

But I don't know if that's ever happened in history.

Even the Bible talks about the power of a bribe.

The irony is that mainly older people seem to care.

The young have dozens of years to look forward to, while our time is limited to just a few more.

Surely there must be plenty of people, even in money mad US who don't want to trash the planet for money !

I mean c'mon just a bit of common sense says one doesn't want to try and exist on a over heated garbage dump.

Before the 20th Century, the US Federal Government was kept small, limited, and within the confines of the Constitution. The US economy grew the fastest in that period (19th Century), before or after. It's possible, and been done, but then the plutocrats engineered a series of banking panics, that buffaloed the cattle into centralization of power (the FED etc), they controlled. It's been a slow march to fascism, for some time. Over 100 years. Now, it's gone parabolic.

You think so? I find it's just the opposite: most elderly are deluded, naive children who trust the inerrancy of Government, implicitly. Government can do no wrong. Nor has it ever.

I really wonder where you were from OT - Nazi Germany ? Soviet Russia ? to take such a violent view.

BTW over 90% of Israel's land wasn't purchased - it was stolen by force. Is that what you are complaining about ? The Allies did stop Nazi Germany stealing Europe and more, and yes force was reluctantly used.
