Frankie Joe was introduced to me by "Fast Eddie" Thomas, chief trader at Carl Icahn's shop where i was trading my own acct. Frankie became my first consulting client and he encouraged me to start my own newsletter, Crawford Perspectives, going now for 39 years! I sat next to "Trader Vic" Sparandeo at Frankie's funeral in 1987. I think the Barron's article was 1984 after he was on their early Jan panel that year. I have an old audio tape of Frankie speaking to some professional group. He said to offer it as a "special" to get subscribers. I found it and will put it on my website once we get it digitalized. Marty mentioned me in his book "PIT BULL" and another trading contest winner, Robert Prechter, was and still is, a good friend.
