That ought to be a given along with several other considerations. That nothing but feelings were taken into account is informative.
SHAK was trivial for a trader adept in price action. It had been uptrending, attempted a modest reversal, the reversal displayed signs of failure a couple of days after earnings, meaning this is not a reversal, but a retracement and that's it, game over, trend resumption. 3-Day chart shows it well, I didn trade it but I called it before the move began, and PABuster can verify this, but what does it matter, I didnt make a dime off it, I rarely trade equities.
