Marketsurfer Declares STOCK BOTTOM IN!

Discussion in 'Chit Chat' started by marketsurfer, Nov 4, 2008.

  1. The call still stands. the bottom is in and the bottom is 7777.

nothing has changed, i clearly stated there will be volatility, a double bottom could occur, but the DJIA will not go below 7777 for atleast the next 2 years.

brilliant buying opp if we actually get near that level again.

  2. Saying "The bottom is in at 7777" when the DOW is above 9600 is worthless.

The fact remains you called a "bottom" after a 20% plus rally and the market immediately dropped 1000 points in only two days.

The call was nothing short of horrendous. One of the worst on ET this year (second only to stock_trad3r's relentless drivel).

    AWFUL.

  5. actually, it is called a wild guess, which is not much different than casting chicken bones... The market moves based on overall expectations and events, not what closet gurus project.

  6. its not a call for you to trade. only you can decide when to enter and exit. i deal with the macro picture here and the fact remains the projection is valid untill proven wrong. once again, it will be an unprecedented buying opp if the market approaches the 7777 figure. the short term thinking here is toxic.

  9. The "macro picture"? LOL. You just lost 10% in TWO DAYS.

"Short term thinking"---How about rational thinking. As in why buy the market after a 20% runup in 6 trading days?

The call sucked. The fact that you continue to back your call after a 10% selloff in TWO DAYS makes it clear that you are an imbecile.

The call was so unbelievably bad.

  10. You don't seem to understand. it is a long term projection, not a trade recomendation. the time to go long is soon, but not yet.
