The problem with a guy like this is he is trading the wrong side but is coming up with excuses/making things up to keep him in the trade. Ya see it all the time....position goes against them..they look at the board and pretend they see something which gives them excuse to stay in a bad trade.... The best is these clowns who see a 2 point sp bounce and scream "SHORT COVERING"...... Eventually people like this get caught in the one trade that blows up their account....kinda of like the guys in 2006 who claimed they were bulls but had losing yrs..... Guys like him will wipe out all their hard earned profits in a matter of days when the mkt pulls back.....kind of like all the unfortunate people who started their trading careers during the easy times in late 90's when all you had to do is buy anything with 4 or more letters ....they watched 2 yrs of everything they had go away in weeks/months when mkt conditions changed.....now those same people are working the night shift at McDonalds....
What's your point? If you wanna rip on me at least try and have it resemble something of a joke. Hysterical...really.....
At times yes....made some very good money trading short term from the short side...fortuneatly I have been around long enough to know that to make it, you can't be a one sided..... The difference between myself an a moron like yourself, you dont see opportunity on both sides....on days like this you will get clobbered buying dips.....then the next day the mkt might rebound and you make some money...in the end you are probably a scratch trader at best....
Strange that your "firm" will sack you in a heartbeat for posting trades yet their policy of letting you chat online during market hours is surprisingly lax
Like I suggested earlier, many of the posters here seem to NOT be traders but just investors. They seemingly don't comprehend that you can actually make money intra-day; being short, long or playing BOTH short & long the same day. And some of these one sided traders (i.e. long) are still waiting for the COMPX to hit 5000 again and all the stocks that were decimated post March 2000 to come back to where they bought them so they can break even. Funny that a lot of people dislike those who short. I once heard one guy say that shorting was Un-American. LOL.
Not at all....had a great day today (My day was over when the ES traded down to 1429...have been short since Jan 16 when we failed to take out highs... and had a bid at 1429 which got hit).....I guess you read only what you want..... I was just commenting on your lame attempt at humor.....
