  3. I have many black friends, some of whom have been utterly chewed up and spit out by society, some of whom have reached the highest echelons.

All I can say for certain is that each of them has experienced race-based treatment that the average white person in North America (world?) will NEVER EVER experience. This goes for the doctor as equally as the delivery driver. I know one black family, kid is certified genius, who had to shop schools before they found one that wouldn't mistreat their kid simply for being black. Certified genius. My son became his protector at school which is how I found out about this.

So if you aren't black, and black people are telling you something about their experience, I suggest you listen.

And if you suggest that their experience is not worth listening to or respecting, then I think you are a heartless person and explains a lot about WHY this annoying market holiday is necessary.

My black trader friends would maybe rather have the market open.

Probably some truth to that, but there is active discrimination against other minority groups.

"Asian-Americans only receive a recruitment letter if they score at least 250 points higher — 1350 for women, and 1380 for men."

Same applies to employment. Many companies have earmarked jobs for "diversity" candidates which means anyone other than straight white men. And if course there's a hierarchy when it comes to diversity.

What group of people does that not apply to?

nooby mcnoob - Why do African Americans incessantly wallow in self-pity? African Americans are the only group to come to this country and not be able to be self sustaining.

Perhaps it is the fact that the AVERAGE IQ of an African American is 85.

You talk about an African American genius who had trouble getting into a good school. Hard to believe. Almost every school in the country is bending over backwards to attract intelligent African Americans because they are relatively rare. It is a fact that in most case admission standards have to be substantial lowered for African Americans at academic institutions because they just can not compete.

If you want a real eye opener that will really help you appreciate the validity of BLM, take a trip to South West Africa.

  7. Yes, I am lying about a genius black kid that was having trouble being mistreated by teachers after being accepted into mostly white schools precisely because he murdered the other kids academically. He eventually ended up at a cosmopolitan school and is doing great.

Since you are a big fan of IQ, you may be interested to note that Murray of The Bell Curve stated that in his opinion, the measured IQ of black americans was not due to anything inherent but the situations in which they lived.

Imagine, at every crossroad in life, you have a strike against you. You have to make up for it in other ways but you always have a -10. You proved it yourself by stating:

    1. Black americans wallow in self pity
    2. They have low IQs

You generalize about blacks meaning that when you see a black person, you will automatically have that opinion. i.e., a -10 mark. Imagine most people everywhere thinking that way. What impact does that have on law enforcement, schooling, jobs, loans, etc, etc. All the things others may take for granted.

    True story:

A few years ago, a black teen National Master was receiving a lot of attention and publicity. Obviously because he was black, not because being a chess NM as a teenage boy is rare (it isn’t).

I was in an elevator with an elderly black lady at the Westgate Hotel in Las Vegas. It was the National Open. She struck up a conversation with me and talked proudly about her grandson the famous chess teen. I had not heard of the kid so I looked up his history when I got to my room.

Some months later at the North American Open he got caught red-handed cheating. He was in a restroom stall consulting Stockfish on his phone during his game against a Chinese teenage Grandmaster. The GM’s dad followed the kid to the restroom and suspected he was cheating and looked into the stall.

All hell broke loose. The black kid and his family went berserk deflecting blame and threatening to sue the tournament organizer and wanting the police to be called on the GM kid’s dad.

Bottom line, nothing was done to the black kid for cheating. I don’t recall if he even forfeited the game. At the minimum, cheating results in an automatic forfeit and getting kicked out of the tournament.

I’m sure it wasn’t the first time the kid cheated. Being black has its privileges in the chess world. Maurice Ashley is a prime example.

    Tonya Harding kneecapped a competitor.

    People cheat.

    It's not because they're black.
