I wonder if anyone who was involved with that sculpture realizes how much it stereotypes black people, thereby making it inherently racist. Not every fucking black person uses a hair pick. White people use it as well. Was Bob Ross a racist by having a fro? How about Kyle Troup, one of the top bowlers in the world? Just stupid.
Be great if there was more celebration of Father's Day in the black community, but hey, often there is nothing to celebrate.
Majority of people with afros are probably black, but the people I have known most likely to rock afros are mixed race. Why do we have to complain about everything. Some guys thought this sculpture was good, let them have it. At least it wasn't THIS ONE:
