Ouch... Market hurting today! BTW folks, whenever you hear me talk about the market on this forum, it's usually for my long play of several years in managed funds. As such, I'm only interested in ultimate bottoms for long term investing. Next, when I meant "never get past 4444", plz use some common sense. Everything has an envelop within which it develops/exists. Just for argument's sake, let's say Market has "gotten past 4444" when it exceeds 4444+12.5% (1/8th). Failing to do so, it has never really gotten past THAT Unlucky/Inauspicious number in the East! Also, if you want my advice, in the past when a G7 country hosts an Olympics event, the market will tend to rise significantly afterwards. Well Mr. Market has a shocker in store for everyone after LA 2024!!

This marks 2nd time Mr. Market tried to get past 4444 and failed/failing. First time was a couple of years ago (meaning a successful pass-by is 4444+12.5% or 1/8th AND anything less Mr. Market NEVER actually got past 4444). This going by long term INVESTING view not scalper's view of mere hours/days/weeks. Thus, the 3rd time Mr. Market tries to get past 4444, he WILL succeed and happen very fast actually toward 6666 or even 8888. BUT most likely 7777!! Mr. Market now in ultimate bottoming mode. I'm looking for SP500 levels between 2100 and 2700. He needs to go down that much to recharge for the 3rd time trying to get past 4444 and succeed!! Since we're looking at long term view of the market, I won't and CANNOT rule out the market will NOT bottom until well after LA2024!!
