Well I don’t know about destroy but yes we won’t escape unscathed in the course of annihilating them.

This is a good take. We aren’t doing things like the Hoover dam anymore. We aren’t even thinking about it. Transformative investments pay off. We are still collecting returns from the TVA investments in the south and Midwest.

It’s the culture war. People buy into the idea that the left is somehow going to take away what little they do have so they accept a party that actively works against their own interests.

  4. Yeh, right. Sure. You need that to be true. Other than that, no. Emphatically *no*.

And yes, this is not a freebie for Putin even if the U.S. does nothing. The Ukranians are not going to go down easily and even if they are defeated on the field it will be messy and the Russian economy is sufficiently fragile that additional sanctions will keep them even weaker. Like Iran, no one is going to be floored and taken out of the game with sanctions but they do feel it. Russia's economy is very shaky and whatever military might they have is a result of their punching above their weight by putting so much of their resources into the military.

As we have seen in history before- refer to the famines in Ukraine- the Ruskies play a rough game and are willing to sacrifice every man, woman, and child in the Ukraine just achieve their turf objectives. Not sure how that plays in the days of cell phone cams.

Having said that, there is not a single cell in my body which is interested in having the Ukraine in NATO. And boot Turkey out while we are on that topic. Don't need any more losers.

An underdiscussed topic in the media is whether the Russian people want a war with Ukraine, which is doubtful. Not saying that would stop Putin, but it adds to his resistance if things get dicey.

  6. Clarence Emil "Bud" Anderson (born January 13, 1922) is a retired officer in the United States Air Force, a triple ace of World War II, and the highest scoring living American fighter ace. During the war he was the highest scoring flying ace in his P-51 Mustang squadron. Towards the end of Anderson's two combat tours in Europe in 1944 he was promoted to major at 22, a young age even for a highly effective officer in wartime. After the war Anderson became a well regarded fighter test pilot, and a fighter squadron and wing commander

Bud was an ace at 23 years old. He was also a squadron commander of a P-51 squadron. As he has said, "I was a very responsible 23 year old. His P-51 was named OLD CROW after the cheap whiskey.

Are you mentally stable? For real?
Either you're bedrock stupid, or you're one of those low iq individuals that's not quite that stupid, that argue semantics because they're too dense to see anything else.
    Either one... not real flattering.
    ... idiot.
    Case closed.
