Market Scan

Discussion in 'Trading Software' started by mashiyoshi, Feb 18, 2003.

  1. Does anyone here know of a way to scan the markets searching for stocks that are closing at or near the high/low of the day with above average volume? I'm looking to perform this scan 30 minutes before the market closes.

Thanks in advance for you help.

    mashiyoshi,

Another alternative that I would suggest is the eSignal Scanner. More information about this product can be found at http://www.esignal.com/scanner/

Please let me know if you have any questions about this or any other eSignal product.

  5. Does anyone know of a software package or financial website

that shows the names with the highest institututional ownership?

my chart service shows me a # for this when I type in the individual stock name , but is there a list somewhere ?

    on first call perhaps ?

  6. Hello setharb, I think www.lionshares.com is what you may be looking for, instead of mutual fund click on institutional ownership, best of luck.

  7. try www.trade-ideas.com i have used it and like it.

    best,

    surfer:)

  8. I don't know exactly what you mean. Is this right?

Otherwise you could build a screen here:

    http://www.marketguide.com/mgi/screen/AScreen.asp

They have Institutional % owned also, as well as # of Institutional shareholders and Institutional Net Shares Purchased to screen on.

    I hope that helps.
