Market noise

  1. I was but reading your mind. And no ET thread would be complete without a naively greedy plea for a free positive expectancy strategy. Puhleeeeeeeze? I am on Social Security and fixed corporate retirement. If you help me I'll be less of a burden to society in the future. I promise not to live too long.

  2. Hell I want to be a burden to my grandchildren and society. My kids are already sniffing around for my trading notes & programming code too.

  3. But we digress. To address the OP's question, IMO, as stated, there is NO noise. It is all a matter of perspective. To an EOD trader, the intraday follies no doubt look like noise. To the intraday S/R trader, the tick-fucker's happy domain looks like noise. Blow the scale up to whatever trading style you can imagine, and there is no noise. Even on the tick chart, which has its own flowing rhythm. If you don't understand why price reversed where it did, why, of course! It MUST be noise!
