I know for a fact Market Monk and Proflogic are two separate people. Their methodologies are only remotely similar, btw.

I apologize for starting this up again, but I thought I would be fair to MM. I was in his Paltalk every time he had it. There were around 3 or so instances where he gave intraday market calls off the cuff. Every single one was correct.

I was impressed, but I'm sure I'm just some dumb and naiive 12 year old...right?

Just thought I should be fair to him.

Also, the individuals who know who this person is and everything about him, supposedly, are using the same ambiguous tactics as they claim MM himself uses. Take some of your own advice. Put up or shut up.

Again, I apologize for bringing up this topic once again.

    Best,

This is the exact kind of post I was talking about. A pointless comment with no proof.

Who does put up or shut up and where?

I don't disbelieve you Samson, but where in this entire thread does someone "put up or shut up"? I'd love to read it.

ang 99 and Samson and whoever else,

I was talking about this thread and always have been. I was not talking about the journals or any other part of this website. Nothing I have written is about any other part of this website, just this thread.

I have heard slander claiming that MM is gay. If I knew the MM, I would suggest he take legal action. Is there any proof of this? No, there is not and that is slander.

I have read half-a-dozen people on this thread claim that they know who MM is. Do they? Probably not and they are all probably thinking of different people. They do not offer any proof, just a comment we are supposed to take seriously.

You people claim that MM is a fraud and that he is too ambiguous with his comments on the market to be helpful.

I am claiming that you complainers and naysayers are doing the exact same thing that you are accusing MM of.

I am only discussing this thread and nothing else on EliteTrader. If that is too difficult to understand for some of you, please stop responding. Thanks.

    Best,

    LB

  10. The bottom line is this market monk guy was obviously a fraud and it became apparent as time went on that his gig was trying to get $10,000 out of a few people from the internet. This forum probably had quite a bit to do with him folding up and ending his scam so I think you need to keep in mind we accomplished a good thing here. When I said I thought I knew who he was it was because certain elements of his scam matched a guy I ran into a few years ago... in some ways, the similarities were uncanny, but the guy I knew wasn't as articulate as the Monk was. I don't think any harm was done to anyone by me mentioning he looked like someone I already knew... in fact this lead to a string of private messages through which I was able to figure out he wasn't who I thought he might have been. Why does that upset you?

Not sure what your angle is or why you feel inclined to comment. I guess that's the beauty of the internet -- everyone has an opinion and we get to see em all!
