You can be a day trader without being a scalper. I look to catch a good trend during the day and close out before market close. The trick is finding those trending days and avoiding chop (for my style).
I manage through all market periods and take the good and the bad in stride. My exposure has been reduced during this trend shift and psychologically, emotionally - my general well-being is fairly consistent (despite the major market upheavals). That is the sign of a mature trader. I am a bit miffed regarding one email account I can't get into today, yet. pay$
Where did all the inflation bulls go? And those guys posting daily how the dollar will goto zero and how they're long gold miners to protect against the looming fiat currency implosion?
