Ever get served ads online that were something you recently thought about, but never spoke of or searched for? That's an algorithm taking your digital footprint and others that were in proximity to your mobile device(s) to forecast future purchase behavior/interests/etc. It's already possible to predict people's actions even if a person doesn't know what they're going to do next.
Hello Georpe, Are you saying in the future or near future there will be a machine that can predict my manual discretionary trading moves?
No, that’s already possible and has been for a long time. Ever play chess against a computer? You’re not big enough for someone to target, but markets function on rational decision making and certain behavior will elicit certain responses. It’s why frameworks are more important than systems. What I’m saying is big data without AI is already extremely powerful…you shouldn’t make assumptions and dismiss something like AI just because you’re going to try and “guess” yourself to a million dollars every year.
Interesting, and I agree with it regarding jobs, but the art I can't see it. Maybe some part of the arts, like digital stuff, but I doubt that AI can be as creative as some brains. It can defitely take over the business side of the arts, production, marketing, distribution... But the creation and the originality I don't think so. So far, ai music sounds like very bad electronic music. Music producing software already come with "human imperfections" effect, but so far, we have no comparison in terms of creativity and originality. I also wonder about arts like sculptures and paintings for the same reasons. Maybe I just hope AI will never be as weird as some of the creative brains. Some of the best art was caused by human errors and imperfections, that opened the door to new approaches and visions. If there is one skill I would consider safe from AI take over, it would be the arts.

Though, I agree with you, this is probably the last bastion to fall, creativity borne from imperfection is probably what we humans have going for us.
My point is that AI can help you with routine work, automate certain tasks, or simply save time on various tasks. I tried applying AI in poker and betting, but it turns out AI isn't very good at reading poker faces or predicting the outcome of a sports game )
so the other day i broke out an old ai from cray days and decided i would give it a crack. after decades i have learned to be much more fanatically detailed in my definitions of things. it actually turned out really well for me, but i think that's only because i already know most of what i'm directing it to accomplish. it is excellent for typing and commenting code and coming up with different ways to code something. my interest has a new spark.
